Paris Time vs. Kate Time

After returning home Monday evening, May 23rd, from our two days in Bern and Lucerne, Sarah and Israel re-packed their bags again (this time in backpacks) so that they could catch an early morning train to Paris on Tuesday. DJ drove them to Mulhouse, France to board a bullet train (it was lots cheaper to go from there vs. Basel). Katelyn stayed home with Grammy, snuggled all cozy and warm in her cute little bed. In fact, though her parents were up at an unearthly hour, Katelyn was so exhausted from the travel that she slept until 9:50!

The next three days brought lots of fun for Katelyn and Grammy while Grampy went to work each day, and her parents were off doing things like this:

Checking out Notre Dame -

Climbing the Eiffel Tower -

Scoping out Versailles -

Some museum hopping at the Lourve and the Orsay -

And taking in the views from both the bottom and the top of the Arc de Triumph -

In the meantime, Katelyn did things like:

Putting a puzzle together

Catching some Sesame Street, Barney, or Baby Einstein

Reading with Grampy after he got home from work!

Taking a stroll in the evening along the Rhine.

Checking out the sights!

Playing in the tub at Grammy's house.

We were glad to give Sarah and Iz a little alone time in Paris , but DJ and I aren't so sure we didn't get the better end of the deal!!
