Bringing in the New Year (well, almost)

Just like last year, we celebrated New Year's Eve at my sister's house with extended family.  We still had Abby and Steven here, the Arciniegas were back from Utah, and Matt's family was there so the twelve of us joined six of the Wallace clan (the four Stewarts were there) for lots of fun.  Livi went all out to decorate the tables (I love the table cloth that her dil, Looli, made for her table):

The kid's table in the kitchen.

The food was great.  Livi does huge hoagies/subs on French bread and then we cut them up.  She does a variety so everyone can have their favorites.  Everyone else brings food as well.  This year I took my 7-layer dip (my annual requirement), some cheese balls and crackers, and a veggie tray w/dip.  Bri brought the chips and the drinks, and Looli was in charge of dessert.  Unfortunately, the Brandon Wallaces couldn't come because Looli cut her hand open and had to go to the ER right before the party.  Bluebell to the rescue.  Let's just say, none of us went hungry.

The little cousins always have a good time together:

Livi bought party hats for the kids (both big and little):

The old people had a great time visiting, relaxing, and playin' games:

Unlike last year, we didn't do fireworks.  And no, we didn't even make it to midnight, but all in all we had a greattime.  Thanks to the Wallaces.
